Fruit and Nut Icebox Cake Recipe

This Fruit and Nut Icebox cutlet is a no- singe cate that’s as beautiful as it’s succulent. Concentrated with whipped cream, graham crackers( or digestive biscuits), dried fruits, and brickle nuts, it’s the perfect make- ahead treat for warm days, vacation tables, or anytime you want a crowd- pleasing sweet without turning on the roaster.

Preparation Time:

Total Time~6.5 hours

Equipment:

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Electric Mixer or Whisk
  • Spatula
  • 8×8 or 9×9 Inch Baking Dish
  • Knife (for slicing)
  • Parchment Paper or Plastic Wrap

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pack graham crackers or digestive biscuits
  • 1/2 cup chopped mixed dried fruits
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (e.g., almonds, walnuts, pistachios)
  • 1/4 cup orange juice or milk 

Optional Garnishes:

  • Extra nuts and fruit on top
  • Shaved chocolate or coconut flakes
  • Honey drizzle

Ingredient Notes:

Heavy Trouncing Cream

Use full- fat for the stylish structure and taste in your whipped layers.

Powdered Sugar

Sweetens and stabilizes the whipped cream — acclimate to taste.

Dried Fruits

Choose a various blend for variety. hash finely for better layering and texture.

Nuts

Heated nuts add crunch — almonds, walnuts, or pistachios work well.

Graham Crackers

You can substitute digestive biscuits, Marie biscuits, or indeed ladyfingers.

Instructions:

Make the Whipped Cream

Beat heavy cream, pulverized sugar, and vanilla until soft peaks form.

Layer the Base

Place a single subcaste of graham crackers in the bottom of your dish. You can dip them snappily in juice or milk for a softer texture if asked .

Add Cream and Fruit/ Nuts

Spread a subcaste of whipped cream over the crackers, also sprinkle with diced fruits and nuts.

Reprise Layers

Continue layering crackers, cream, and fruit/ nuts until you reach the top of the dish, finishing with a thick subcaste of whipped cream.

Chill

Cover and chill for at least 4 hours, rather overnight, to let the layers immingle and soften.

Garnish & Serve

Top with redundant fruits, nuts, or a mizzle of honey before serving. Slice and enjoy stupefied!
